Daniel Raven-Ellison, Founder, London National Park City

Daniel Raven-Ellison is a guerrilla geographer, National Geographic Explorer and founder of the London National Park City campaign. A former geography teacher, Daniel uses exploration and storytelling to communicate complex ideas. He recently travelled the length of the country to make a 100 second film in which each second represents what 1% of the UK looks like from the air. Daniel’s also walked across all of the UK’s national parks and cities while wearing a mind-reading device.

Daniel is also a children’s author. In 2015 Daniel started the campaign to transform London into the world’s first National Park City. Having captured the imaginations of people across the capital the London National Park City will be launched this July.
