Professor Kinga Szilágyi, CSc, DLA is a landscape architect and Professor at the Faculty of Landscape Architecture and Urbanism, Szent István University Budapest. She has been directing the education and research of the Department of Garden and Open Space Design, and Landscape Architecture at the Doctoral School of Landscape Architecture and Landscape Ecology.
Her most important professional activity is the research of urban green infrastructure and open space network. The analyses, development and planning of Budapest’s green system in her practice has been based on a complex set of environmental, ecological, social, and planning and design aspects.
In 2016, Kinga led the Faculty of Landscape Architecture research team into the Budapest Green System Concept.
