Lilit Khachatryan is a researcher and PhD student at the Center for Ecological-Noosphere Studies at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. Her PhD thesis is focused on differences of ecological tolerance of urban tree species involved in green infrastructure of Yerevan – the capital city of ancient and beautiful Armenia.
Lilit is part of the CENS team in the H2020 CONNECTING Project, the aim of which is to co-develop the policy and practices necessary to scale up urban resilience, innovation and governance via nature-based solutions.
Lilit’s research interests include urban forestry and urban greening, assessment of ecosystem services, plant biochemistry and ecology, phytomonitoring and phytoindication, Studying mechanisms of plant adaptation to man-altered zones.
